New Jersey State Fair
State Fair Meadowlands returns for 18 days with more than 150 rides and attractions plus plenty of free entertainment on two stages. The fair, which features the largest Kiddieland in New Jersey as well as thrilling rides for older children and adults, over 50 food vendors, live animal shows, daring acrobats, illusionists, a hypnotist, games and shopping.
State Fair Meadowlands is the largest fair in the New York metro area, with more than 35 acres of fairgrounds. Dazzling fireworks shows will take place July 3 and 4.
Ridgewood 4th of July Celebration
Join the 109th annual Ridgewood Fourth of July celebration. The theme for the parade this year is All-American Summer, honoring all things American like barbecues, baseball and outdoor concerts. The day starts with a flag raising at 9am followed by a parade stepping off at 10am. Evening entertainment begins at 6pm with three band performances and ends with a fireworks display. Event is rain or shine.
4th of July in Summit
Jersey City Freedom and Fireworks Festival
Have a blast on the Fourth of July at Jersey City’s 6th Annual Freedom & Fireworks Festival, now located at Exchange Place Plaza. The full day of festivities include live performances, carnival rides, kids entertainment, a kids zone and the grand fireworks finale on the Hudson River. Transportation options include free bike valet service, the PATH or light rail, NY Waterway ferries and NJ Transit buses.
